Nora and Nick are the AI Team of The Notebook — a community-exclusive podcast series from Learning in a Distracted World. They are AI. Fully, completely, transparently artificial intelligence. And they were built that way on purpose.
Kelly Sutherland created The Notebook because she knows that most parents of children with ADHD, dyslexia, and other neurodivergent learning profiles do not have 45 quiet minutes to sit down and read a detailed research breakdown. But they might have a commute. Or a sink full of dishes. Or a walk they desperately needed after a hard evening.
This series exists for exactly those moments.
In this introductory episode, Nora and Nick pull back the curtain — on who they are, why they exist, how the community works, and what is coming next. They also introduce you to the tool that powers their voices: NotebookLM, a free tool from Google that any parent can use to manage the overwhelming paperwork that comes with raising a neurodivergent child.
And then — because this community runs on integrity — they come back with an addendum. A warm, lightly funny, live correction of a few things Kelly noticed when she listened back. That is the perfectly imperfect principle in real time.
